<reviewbody>I had heard the name many times before today, but I had never heard the band. But when looking for some strings, I found this show. The streaming option allowed me to listen at work. First impression: .. meh .. the singer sounds bad. I don't like his voice. the music is kinda 'jam-country' .. and i'm not digging it.. the violin is nice, but it's not that nice. I probably won't look for other shows of theirs or see them live. Sound Quality wise, this smokes. great recording, everything is really clear and nice. I just wish I dug the music more. :-/</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Note that this is not a full-on New Monsoon show but rather a one-off assemblage of musicians for a benefit gig. Only 4 of the 7 NM mebers participated at various points, as detailed in the setlist notes.</reviewbody>
